The Sound Designer Oliver Pinelli
Sound Design inspired from Austria´s Nature
He is considered as one of the best producers and sound designers in the German-speaking countries: Oliver Pinelli. Already nominated for the "ECHO" Price, the in 1968 in Berlin born artists has now settled in the countryside of Austria.
Oliver Pinelli has been working for many years as a music producer and songwriter with national and international artists. With the band "Unheilig” and the album "City Lights" he recently celebrated quadruple platinum. Moreover, even Helene Fischer shone with a song on her album "Farbenspiel" with a song creation based on Oliver.
The music accompanies the producer since childhood years. Already with 12 years, he played in various bands in the genres of funk/soul, rock/pop, metal, punk and electronic music. A stay abroad in the US then gave him the necessary impetus to develop his passion to his profession. Oliver worked with Lee Spencer on the soundtrack for the acclaimed film "Run Lola Run", where he has learned a lot about the production technique of of electronic music, among others from artists such as Prodigy, Aphex Twin and Björk. His fascination for analog synthesizers was awakened. Oliver Pinelli then deepened this knowledge over the years.
Back in Germany, the producer began with productions for other artists. He worked for Yvonne Elliman, Paul van Dyk, In Extremo and likewise for the band Unheilig. His focus is rather the major industry scene. However, the ambitious sound designer is also open to professionally oriented newcomers and he always looks and selects talents to refine sound technology together with them.
